Over the last 2-3 years, Adobe has delivered brilliantly on the promise that the subscription model would allow more innovations. Since then Adobe added Texture which is similar to C1's Structure slider. This was 5 years ago and everything changes. Even if C1 Pro edged out LrC I still would have not spent the money. This is just an example of how I made a decision about something that was important to me. See what he says about that starting at minute 10:15. A C1 Pro die hard but gives good balanced reviews. I came across this video after I made my decision. If I was a portrait photographer I'd probably have it as well. Their claim to fame is colour and they deliver. There was nothing wrong with C1 Pro's detail. Many won't agree me but I expected the fine detail to blow my socks off but it didn't. I tried C1 Pro three times and it has a lot to offer. If the colours, textures and mostly as a wildlife photographer you can get sharp images then that would be the priority to me anyway.įor example I use LrC. Second tier only depending on what your needs are.
